Proceedings of the European Commission Conferences on EURATOM Research and Training in Safety of Reactor Systems and Radioactive Waste Management - Volume 1

EURADWASTE '22, the 10. European Commission (EC) conference on the management of radioactive waste and geological disposal was held under the auspices of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU) in Lyon, on 31 May - 3 June 2022. It was co-organised together with the CEA and concurrently with the 10. FISA 2022 conference on the Safety of Reactor Systems. EURADWASTE'22 structure and its sessions' objectives aim at taking stock of what kind of research the Commission has funded during Horizon 2020 and open-up exchange and discussions on future collaborative research of EU added-value. Speakers from international organisations such as the IAEA and the OECD/NEA were invited as well to present an overview of their recent activities on radioactive waste management. Each one of the three sessions was introduced by a keynote lecture given on behalf of one of the three colleges of EURAD, followed by a series of presentations from the different on-going projects and work packages and closed by a roundtable discussion between the speakers.
