Proceedings of the specialist meeting on the development and application of reliability techniques to nuclear plant

Description

This specialist meeting was the fifth in a series of meetings and discussions on the reliability of components and systems for nuclear power plants in its relation to safety. It was organized by the Committee on the Safety of Nuclear Installations (CSNI) and hosted by the Safety and Reliability Directorate of the UK Atomic Energy Authority at the University of Liverpool. The thirty-one papers presented were taken in the five sessions of the meeting and dealt with the following subjects: system and plant analysis with reference to safety and/or availability; analysis methods and use of data; reliability growth and assessment of relevant influences; methods of decision-making with reference to the safety of nuclear plants; general experience and techniques from various fields
