Description

The effect of Co alloying addition on the microstructure, mechanical properties and fracture behavior of (W-Ni-Fe) tungsten alloy has been studied. The fracture behavior and segregation of the impurity elements at the W-W grain boundaries were examined. The results indicated that better mechanical properties could be achieved by optimum Co alloying addition in the tungsten heavy alloys. (author)
