Velocity and sodium aerosols size measurements in neutral atmosphere using a laser Doppler method

Description
In the framework of the knowledge improvement of sodium aerosols formation and evolution in the space above the core of a FBR-type reactor, simultaneous size and velocity measurements of sodium aerosols inside an argon jet have been obtained. The use of a laser particle-size meter for in-situ measurements allows to obtain results unreachable with classical methods
