Atomsemiotics - semiotic problems of nuclear waste and signs as warnings to the distant future
Creators
Description
The present article deals with semiotic problems of nuclear waste and the following five central questions: What can semiotics contribute to the nuclear waste problem? Why is nuclear waste a communication problem? Which basic character-theoretical considerations must be made in the context of atomic semiotics? How must characters be designed to serve as warnings to the distant future? Why is the idea of a democratically organized and acting 'future committee' the most elegant solution both in terms of the claim to the signs and the feasibility? (roessner)
