Comparison of the physical characteristics of the cores of perspective reactors, cooled with sodium and heavy coolant

Description
The results of the conceptual studies on the fast power reactors, providing for the replenishment with depleted uranium both on the lead-bismuth and sodium coolant, are presented. The model of such reactor is proposed. Necessary conditions of its creation is proposed and calculated values of principal parameters for active zone with heavy and sodium coolants are compared. It is advisable to considered the reactors with the replenishment by the depleted or slightly enriched uranium together with the fast reactors-actinide burners for assuring better ecological and safety characteristics of such a system

Приводятся результаты концептуальных исследований быстрых энергетических реакторов, обеспечивающих подпитку необогащенным ураном, как на свинцово-висмутовом, так и натриевом теплоносителе. Предлагается модель такого реактора, обсуждаются необходимые условия его создания и сравниваются расчетные значения принципиальных параметров для активной зоны с тяжелым и натриевым теплоносителем. Реакторы с подпиткой необогащенным или слабообгащенным ураном целесообразно рассматривать совместно с быстрыми реакторами-выжигателями актинидов для обеспечения лучшей экологичности и безопасности такой системыAdditional details
