Description

The Nuclear, Isotopic and Elementary Analytical development Laboratory (LANIE) performs various analytical developments aiming at reducing 1) the amounts of samples required for accurate elemental and isotopic analysis, and 2) handling time on samples and radioactive wastes production. After a short presentation of the conventional approach used for elementary and isotopic analysis in the case of a spent fuel sample, the most recent developments carried out by the laboratory concerning these various purposes, in agreement with the 'green analytical chemistry' concepts, are presented and discussed
