STEG power generation expansion planning experience
Description
STEG, the Tunisian electricity and gas utility, operates in a specific national and regional context and has accumulated some experience in solving its own power expansion planning problems. The active cooperation with the IAEA, initiated more than ten years ago, has been very fruitful. STEG has used the IAEA's planning packages successfully in a wide range of problems. This paper gives an overview of STEG planning experience before and after the release of the WASP model, and draws a parallel with Korean experience. (author). 5 refs, 2 figs, 2 tabs
