U.S. Threat Reduction Accomplishments Associated with the Contact Expert Group. Agenda item 1.8 (Presentation in English)

Description

The presentation U.S. Treat Reduction Accomplishments Associated with the CEG by Christopher Landers from DoE and Robert Bridges from MoD, USA, reported on the completion of the RTG recovery from the Russian Far-East in 2009. The effort was underway to recover remaining RTGs from the Northern Sea route. In 2009, the dismantlement of a Typhoon-class submarine had been completed, and the dismantlement of another submarine was carried out in cooperation with Canada and Rosatom.
