Symposium on heat exchangers

Description

Heat exchange equipment forms a vital part of many processes - chemical, fertilizer, petroleum, petrochemical, fossil and nuclear power generation, refrigeration, and so on. The Symposium on Heat Exchangers held at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam, during February 14-16, 1996 was aimed at bringing together heat exchanger designers, experimentalists, material suppliers, manufacturers and users of this equipment and providing a forum for exchange of their expertise and experiences in this area including that in nuclear power plants. The symposium and deliberations helped in identifying crucial issues involved in the efficient design and performance of heat exchangers. It also provided directions for the future and made valuable contribution to the indigenous technology. Papers relevant to INIS are indexed separately
