Description
Special emphasis has been laid to the application of Synchrotron Radiation to study physics of Atoms, Molecules and Clusters. The unique property of tunability over a large wavelength range, high brightness, polarization and collimation properties of the present day third generation synchrotron sources make it a unique source for performing many novel experiments in this field. It is worth mentioning here that several interesting and high quality atomic and molecular physics experiments have been carried out at the Indus-1. RRCAT is also a centre of excellence for lasers and a large number laser based atomic and molecular physics experiments are being carried out in this centre. It also includes visit to Indus synchrotron sources and discussion session on use of synchrotron sources for Atomic and Molecular physics studies. Papers relevant to INIS are indexed separately
