Proceedings: 3. International Symposium on Mechanical Vibrations (ISMV-2002)

The third symposium in the series of Mechanical Vibrations was held from 23-27, September 2002 at Islamabad, Pakistan. This publication is the collection of the papers presented at the title meeting. The theme of these symposia is to provide a common platform to the participants to exchange information on the materials that are being used in the high-tech applicants. A growing interest in the subject of vibration engineering reflects its importance in a modern, technologically advanced and rapid changing society, where safety, reliability and environmental issues are at the forefront. In this symposium about 100 delegates from different parts of the world were participated. This symposium covers extremely interesting range of subjects as: Vibration Analysis, Rotor dynamics, Condition Monitoring, Case studies, Instrumentation, Nonlinear Vibrations, Noise and Vibration Control and General Vibrations.
