Description
Detection of low-level acoustic waves is related to the measure of very small displacements of a receiver surface. The surface is part of a miniaturized interferometer of new concept that enables accuracy of 1/8 of wavelength. The design may enable determining also the spatial direction of the sound waves, especially in dense media, like sea waters. (author)
