The presentation Status of Activities under Italian – Russian Cooperation Agreement for Global Partnership by Massimiliano Nobile from Sogin, Italy, provided an overview of completed projects for dismantlement of four nuclear submarines and the plans to dismantle a decommissioned nuclear cruiser. Italy started the construction of a specialised vessel for safe relocation of SNF and RW in North West Russia. Italian projects for RW management at Andreeva Bay and arrangement of physical protection of a shipyard were also described.
