Raman scattering via quantum optics
Description
Laser matter interaction leads to nonlinear effects. Raman scattering from Quantum Optics angle is studied. By evaluating the characteristics function, the statistical properties of photons and phonons are discussed. A simple solution is obtained in terms of the Laguerre, polynomial and zeroth order Bessel function. The energy exchange between laser photons and phonons is discussed. (author)
