Proceeding: fifth national symposium on frontiers in physics

The fifth national symposium on frontiers in physics was held by Pakistan Physical Society from December 26-28, 1995 at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. The proceedings encompass several areas of physics such as atomic and molecular physics, nuclear physics, high energy physics, astrophysics plasma physics, laser physics and condensed matter physics. The symposium was attended by about 200 participants. The aim of this symposium was to bring the physics community of Pakistan together so as to share knowledge about the latest developments in different areas of the field and information about achievements of each other.
