Description
The report provides information about the Norwegian nuclear legacy assistance programme in Russia in 2011. Norway had completed the assistance project for removing Russian radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs) from the Baltic Sea. Other projects included the creation of infrastructure for safe removal of spent nuclear fuel from a former navy base, environmental monitoring of the Kara Sea, and enhancement of radiation safety and regulatory cooperation.
