Photoionizing radiation of positive corona in moist air

Description

Absorption of photoionizing radiation generated by positive corona in the atmospheric pressure air at different moisture content is measured. Absorption coefficients for dry air and H2O are obtained for the pressure times distance region of 400 - 750 Torr crn. Results are compared with those of earlier authors and possible reasons of discrepancies are discussed. (author)
