Description

Presentation by Anatoly Zakharchev from Rosatom (Russia) summarised international efforts in 2011. To date 65 decommissioned submarines have been dismantled. Complex international efforts are underway in Andreeva Bay to create infrastructure for the removal of submarine SNF from this former Navy base. Infrastructure for storage of submarine reactor compartments is being created in the Far East. Projects in Gremikha. Plans for 2012-2015.
