Description
This document presents the countermeasures implemented in Finland in case of a nuclear accident. Various aspects of the subject are talked such as the radiation surveillance, the generic intervention levels for short-term countermeasures. Finally, proposals for operational intervention levels are described, including sheltering, use of stable iodine, preventive evacuation, control of access on the contaminated areas and protection of cattle and its feed.
