Fourth international symposium on nuclear analytical chemistry: book of abstracts

NAC-IV is aimed at providing a forum for exchange of information and discuss the current scenario of NATs and nuclear analytical chemistry. In this symposium fundamental and applied aspects of NAC will be discussed in different scientific sessions and informal discussions. The scope of the symposium covers topics like conventional and prompt gamma-ray activation analysis, alpha-, X-ray and gamma-ray spectroscopy, nuclear analytical chemistry in nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear track techniques, nuclear probe and ion beam analysis techniques, radioisotope tracer methodologies, actinide speciation studies, QA/QC in measurements, applications of NAC to geological, biological, environmental, archaeological, pharmaceutical, industrial, nutritional and nuclear materials, nuclear forensics and safety aspects. Topics like utilization of research reactors and accelerators, applications of radiotracers, nuclear analytical chemistry in different stages of nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear analytical techniques for various applications, speciation studies and nuclear forensics and radioactive safety will be covered in the symposium.
