Description
The dependence of local blood flow decrease in the femoral bone marrow and in a hind leg muscle as well as the pO2 of this muscle on the degree of abdominal compression was investigated in rats. The values of the indicators revealed at maximal compression a gradual decrease and were 0.5% and 0.2%, resp., of the controls for bone marrow and muscle blood flow and 3.5% for muscle pO2. Basic characteristics of an experimental model of induced hypoxia utilizable in radiobiology are described
