Considerations on the economic consequences of short-term countermeasures after a nuclear accident

The objective of the paper is to present the various dimensions of economic consequences of the short-term countermeasures. The direct costs are relatively well delineated and represent only a small part of the total costs. For example, different aspects should be considered such as the population evacuation and sheltering (due to the transportation, accommodation, food,...) or temporary interdictions. Finally, this paper presents the role of an optimisation of the costs when implementing short term countermeasures. (TEC). 16 refs., 4 figs., 2 tabs
