Description

The degradation of 14C-parathion, 14C-carbofuran and 14C-EPTC was studied in laboratory experiments using garden mould, sandy soil and sandy soil amended with humic acid. The degradation rates for all three pesticides were highest in the garden mould. The intermediate products of oxidative degradation were separated by thin layer chromatography.
