Description

University Network of Excellence in Nuclear Engineering (UNENE) was formed in 2002 to address potential industry gaps in staff development, R&D coordination, and knowledge management. UNENE is a partnership of 8 industry organizations and 13 universities, with representation from government. It's founding objectives are a supply of highly qualified personnel, support, fund and coordinate nuclear research in universities to address industry needs and create a respected pool of university-based expertise for independent industry and stakeholder consultation.
