Description

This report covers the petrophysical evaluation of logging data from Sellafield Borehole No. BH16, logged on the 31st January, 1997 as run number 1. The logs were pre-processed initially for fine depth matching and the application of environmental corrections to the raw data over the entire logging interval. Porosity and grain density were determined and a final volumetric analysis (ELAN) of the formation is presented over the interval 323.5 to 62.5m. The interval logged consisted of the Calder Sandstone Formation. The ELAN analysis is performed over the whole interval logged. Due to the absence of sonic data a simplified ELAN model was used.
