Coupling of near-field processes in salt dome repositories for radioactive wastes
Creators

Description
The various links of the near-field processes integrated into the performance assessments of salt dome repositories in Germany have been described. These links have been established with the help of the computer code EMOS, which is based on compartment model. For the modelling of the physical and chemical processes in each compartment, simplified models have been used. These simplified models have however been derived from the detailed models of the processes with their laboratory and/or in-situ validations
