Optimization of the enrichment of middle components by thermal diffusion demonstrated by the example of 85Kr. 1

Description

The precalculation of steady-state concentration profiles along a cascade is discussed for multicomponent isotope separation by thermal diffusion. The cascade has been arranged stepwise. In continuous operation one feed-in point and several extraction points are allowed. Particular emphasis is laid on the influence of available cascading parameters. The main result is a set of model equations solved with the aid of a computer programme. (author)
