Chromatographic studies for the separation of uranium and thorium using mandelic acid

  • 1. Fuel Chemistry Div., Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)

Description

Studies were carried out for the separation of uranium and thorium on a reversed phase column using mandelic acid as the eluent. Chromatographic parameters such as concentration and pH of the eluent and concentration of modifier etc. were studied for developing HPLC method for the separation of U and Th. (author)
