Description
The presentation Canada's Global Partnership Status Report by Michael Washer from the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on the country's programme, which included the dismantlement of 13 decommissioned Russian nuclear submarines, defueling 28 submarine reactors, and long-range transportation of two decommissioned submarines to the Zvezda shipyard. Canada funded the modernisation of a railroad in the Far-East to begin the transportation of accumulated submarine SNF from the Zvezda shipyard.
