Description

The excitation functions are calculated for the energy range Elab=88.2 to 101.3 MeV, using the single parameter of model, known as neck-length parameter associated with neck-formation effects. Basically, the neck length (ΔR) gives the information of the time scale of emission of neutrons from the excited compound nucleus. For example, in the present case, magnitude of ΔR is highest for the 6n decay channel, followed by 5n and 4n, which seem to suggest that 6n decay occurs first and then 5n, 4n decays follow in sequence
