Description
Nuclear fission was discovered 75 years ago and it is considered to be one of the most important discoveries in nuclear physics. It has led to a better understanding of basic properties of nuclei and is vital to the production of nuclear power, development of related instrumentation and applications. Nuclear fission processes, fission fragment spectroscopy, radiochemical studies in fission, superheavy elements, spontaneous fission and cluster radioactivity, neutrino emission in beta decay of fission products, detectors and experimental techniques for fission studies, fission data for reactors, radioactive beam and nuclear astrophysics are some of the major topics discussed in the present conference. Papers relevant to INIS are indexed separately
