The ATLAS hadronic physics program and high energy cosmic rays

  • 1. Physics Department, University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB T6G 0V1 (Canada)

Description

The various aspects of the current and future ATLAS programs to explore hadronic physics, including diffraction and forward physic are discussed The emphasis is p laced on those results and future plans that have particular relevance for high-energy, and ultra high-energy, cosmic ray physics. In closing the latest ATLAS results on the search for the Higgs boson are summarized. (authors)
