Description
From a legal view, the EC Guideline 84/466 Euratom has to be realized. As soon as the state certified additional education and training program is introduced, it should be incorporated into the 'Guideline for Radiation Protection in Medicine' as another possible approach towards the acquisition of expert qualification. The Commission on Radiological Protection recognizes that the proposed state certified additional education and training would also provide physicists with the required professional knowledge about further equipment and methods used in medicine. The Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety is requested to initiate appropriate action by the Federal Government. (orig./DG)
Abstract (German)
In rechtlicher Hinsicht muss die EG-Richtlinie 84/466/Euratom umgesetzt werden. Sobald diese staatlich anerkannte Weiterbildung eingefuehrt ist, sollte sie als weitere moegliche Form des Fachkundeerwerbs in die 'Richtlinie Strahlenschutz in der Medizin' aufgenommen werden. Der SSK ist bekannt, dass durch die vorgeschlagene staatlich anerkannte Weiterbildung in Medizinischer Physik auch das Fachkundeerfordernis an Physiker hinsichtlich weiterer Geraete und Methoden in der Medizin mit abgedeckt waere. Der Bundesminister fuer Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit wird um die entsprechende Initiative in der Bundesregierung gebeten. (orig./DG)Additional details
