The effect of changes in exposure factors on the Dose Area Product (DAP) on abdominal examination with an X-ray aircraft

Description

A study has been carried out on the effect of changes in exposure factors on Dose Area Product (DAP) on abdominal examination using an X-ray machine at the Radiology Sub-Installation of Prof. RSUP. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Denpasar. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of changes in kV and mAs on DAP on abdominal examination. The research data is secondary data from 40 patients on abdominal examination with X-ray machine. Patient data was obtained from the Si-INTAN application, which is already available and has been implemented in the Radiology Installation of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Denpasar. The results showed that the higher the kV and mAs values, the DAP values obtained also increased. (author)
