Description
EUROTEST laboratories have automated installations for environmental conditioning and testing of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment bound to operate in NPP's. The automatic equipment used to tune or regulate the pressure and temperature performs the following tests: 1. assures temperature (within ±2o C) and pressure (within ±0.1 bar) control inside the selected test enclosure; 2. performs optical warnings of the disorders in the installation; 3. displays the imposed and real value of P and T during the test. EUROTEST's LOCA testing installation is mainly devoted and designed for tests on equipment bound to operate in Cernavoda NPP. In order to enable the installation to simulate LOCA type accidents for other kind of NPP's, adjustments will be made in order to reproduce with maximal accuracy the corresponding test diagrams.
