Description
The development of the Web oriented HIerarchical Atomic Model (WHIAM) is described. The model has been developed to understand atomic processes with many excitation lines. The tree structure of the atomic level is reproduced in the data structure in the program, based on the Object Oriented Programming method. The calculated gain of the transient collisional x-ray lasers is found to be consistent with experiments. (author)
