Measurement of T-violation in K+ decays at JHF

Creators

Description

A new method based on a high resolution π0 detection is proposed to measure the T-violation in the decays of stopped K+'s. A statistical sensitivity to T-violating muon polarization in the decays K+ → π0μ+ν and K+ → μ+νγ can reach a level of less than 10-4 in an experiment at low energy kaon beam at JHF. (author)
