Nuclear proliferation in South Asia: The prospects for arms control

Description

This book suggests new ways in which the United States can encourage the prevention, limitation, or containment of the proliferation of nuclear weapons in South Asia. The book is based on a regional nuclear verification study completed in 1990 for Los Alamos National Laboratory. Each chapter represents the views of that chapter's author on options for arms control. In general, a regional approach to the problem of nuclear proliferation in South Asia is adopted
