Spectroscopy for material analysis

The second symposium in the series of Modern Trends in Contemporary Chemistry on a specific topic of 'Spectroscopy for Material Analyses' was held on 4-6 April, 1995 at Islamabad. These proceedings contains the full text of the paper presented and submitted. There were three technical sessions on nuclear, atomic and molecular spectroscopy followed by two special sessions on X-ray spectroscopy and computational/standardisation techniques in spectroscopy emphasizing the importance of these modem tools and standard materials in application of these physical techniques for chemical studies. The format of the proceedings follows that of the symposium, five technical sessions and the concluding session. In all sixty seven papers based on presentations are included in this proceeding.
