Description
The 27 papers of volume 1 describe the current aspects of the use of nuclear energy relating to markets, technology, economics, operation and safety. The institutional and political framework is discussed. On the basis of the implementation of concrete objectives, such as reactor development, upgrading the safety of Eastern European reactors, final disposal of nuclear waste, and essential assitance in nuclear disarmement, the reponsibility of the society is requested for a future-oriented infrastructure.
